A Snail in the Cattails

 

Color challenges are always just that for me, a challenge.  But I simply love the colors used in this card.  The snail and cattails were cut on my Silhouette Cameo as was the label with the greeting on it.
The butterfly was punched with my Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch.  I ran the burgundy background through my Big Shot using a cuttle-bug embossing folder.

All Things New.....

Well, in the midst of all my busyness I managed to get a little under the weather as well.  To say that my creative mojo is a bit stifled would be an understatement right now, but I did finally drag myself into my craft room and put together this little card.  This is one of my favorite scripture verses because it holds so much promise.

MIA??? No, just busy....

Hi all.  I'm not really missing in action.  I've just been very busy lately with work and family.  I finally found some time last night to craft some mother's day cards for the awesome moms in my life, but no time to take pics or write a blog post.  I'm looking at my schedule and seeing that the next 2 weeks are going to be almost as busy as the last, so you probably won't be seeing a lot of me for another couple of weeks.  I am still trying to keep up with my favorite blogs, so keep all that great inspiration flowing my way!

Now I'm off to see if I can find some really awesome stamps to purchase.  Time to add to my collection I think.
