Love Red, White and Pink!

This weeks Dutch Dare challenge is Red, White & Pink with a valentine or love sentiment.  I am also entering this card into the Perfect Sentiments challenge and the Deep Ocean 'love' challenge and the Creative Inspirations challenge.

Dutch Dare Card Challenge

Hi all!  Hope you're having a great Tuesday.  I am enjoying a quiet, peaceful day at home.  I love day's like this and am looking forward to many more of them soon.

In my leisure I've spent some time surfing the net and finding new blog challenges to help stir my creative juices.  The Dutch Dare blog looks fantastic and I have decided to jump right in and enter one of the cards I made yesterday.

I am becoming quite fond of the color palette in this particular card and I think I may spend my evening making more of these adorable paper flowers.

Perfect Sentiments Challenge #17

Hi!  Here is my card for the  Perfect Sentiments Challenge  this week.  I used craft card stock for the base and embossed the front, added the dimensional handmade paper flower with a button for the center.  The black die cut and then embossed butterfly seemed fitting for a card expressing a sort of sad sentiment.  The sentiment is stamped onto deckle cut card stock with a 2nd button affixed to it.
