Perfect Sentiments is hosting an Easter color story challenge this week and I love the colors!
Here is their color palette.
I chose purple card stock for the base and lined the inside with light pink paper. Then I punched the edge of the card with my Martha Stewart lace border punch to let the pink paper just barely show through. I used the same punch on a piece of blue card stock which I added to the lower left corner of the card. A white doily cut with my Silhouette is tucked under the blue at the upper third of the card and a small cluster of purple fabric flowers with green pearl centers was affixed to the center of the doily. I added a strip of light purple ribbon and a matching bow and a butterfly punched using my Martha Stewart monarch butterfly punch. I don't have any Easter sentiments yet, but I did find this 'Warm Wishes' stamp in my stash and decided that would work for any occasion. I'm not totally satisfied with the sentiment, but I am quite pleased with the rest of the card.
I am entering this card into the Perfect Sentiments Easter color story challenge #23.
