Simon Says challenged us this week with this sketch.
I have been trying to make cards more suitable for either gender lately and this is what I came up with for this challenge.
I started with a dark green card base and added the layers from my stash of random papers. I thought the upper left hand corner needed something so I added star shaped brads which accents the stars on the gold paper. The green polka dot grosgrain ribbon sort of plays off the big green polka dot panel. The sentiment is one of my favorite verses of scripture and is from
Our Daily Bread Designs 'Scripture Series 1'.
I am entering this card into the
Simon Says sketch challenge, the
Our Daily Bread 'go green' challenge and the
Creative Inspirations 'anything goes' challenge.
Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great week!
Reny
