Dessy's Card...

My little crafting buddy came down today and wanted to make a card for her other Grandma, so we decided she could use that card for a challenge as well.  Simon Says welcomes entries from any child over 2 years old. Des turns 9 in May.  I don't know how many children  they have entering their challenge, but I think it's neat that they do this.  Des is pretty talented and she made this card with just a little help from me.  I'm proud of her!!!

Here is her card.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great day!!!

Happy Birthday For a Special Guy!

I made this card for my grandson, Josh.  He's all grown up and graduated from college and I couldn't be more proud of him.
For this card I started with a base of blue card stock and added some patterned papers from my stash.  I cut the pennants and the ovals with my Silhouette Cameo and the curvy strip is die cut.  I added 3 brads and strung the pennants on some hemp twine.
I used the sketch from the Made Especially for You sketch challenge which was a great help to me in creating this since I really had no idea where to begin for this card.  Here is the sketch.

And here is the card I made.

I want to enter this card into their challenge this week.
