This simple little card is being entered into 2 different challenges, Creative Inspirations and Creations by Gillm. I made this card for a special male family member, so had to fore-go my usual flowers and butterflies. I did use one of my embossing folders to emboss the edges of the cream and the right border of the blue card base. I also added a brown ribbon and a manly button. The brown printed panel was edge punched and the sentiment was stamped up with brown ink from Stampin-Up.
About 80% of this challenge for me was how to make this a masculine
card, but I think it turned out OK.
Awesome card, Reny! I always have a hard time creating masculine cards. This one is great! Love the embossing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog. FYI: Regarding your comment about the Martha Stewart branch punch- I LOVE that punch!!! But I had a super hard time finding it. Wish I had known ABD had it ;-) Anyway, it's really hard to find but they do have some in stock but all their MS punches are 20% off now through March 2nd. So... if you want it, I would grab it fast if I were you. Just wanted to let you know! And again- awesome card; I am sure whoever it is that you made it for will love it :-)
Lovely card and thanks for sharing at Creative hope to see you next week and good luck
