I chose cream and black as the main colors for this card because there is just something classy about the simplicity of those colors. I cut the frames out with my Cameo and added the background from one of my favorite scrapbook packs, 'Lady Couture' that I found at Pat Catans last month. The scalloped oval was cut on my Cameo with the black backing cut using the offset feature. I really love that feature! The sentiment was stamped in 'Pitch Black' Adirondack ink and the stamp is from Close to my Heart 'Card Chatter- Sympathy'. For the butterflies I pulled out my old standby, the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch. I punched one butterfly in solid black and the other from the same background paper behind the windows. The butterfly ribbon is from my stash and originally came from Michaels, but was given to me by my fantastic sister who supports me in all my crazy endeavors. The final touch to this card were 2 small adhesive grey pearls that accent the sentiment nicely. I bought the pearls some time ago from an Etsy supplier and are from Basic Grey.
I wish to enter this card into the Tuesday Morning Sketches #137 challenge.
