I love the Paper Players sketch challenge this week! Here is their sketch.
.
And here is my take on it.
This card starts with a cream colored base layered with a deep rose colored print paper. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch on the bottom of the layered panel. I then layered a vintage rose print card stock on a solid pink square and affixed my sentiment to the side. I cut the sentiment using a nestability die and my Big Shot. I glued the flowers and foliage to the layered square and added green adhesive pearls to the corners. This I attached to the card with dimensional adhesives. Beneath this I glued a strip of matching card stock and added a chiffon ribbon to it. The bow is attached with a brad. The sentiment is 'Thinking of You'. I don't know how I will ever mail this card since it is so bulky. Any suggestions? I do love the elegant look of this one though. I want to enter this into The Paper Players sketch challenge and the Simon Says 'anything goes' challenge.
Beautiful, Reny! The roses are gorgeous! I love the sheer ribbon and the pearls! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
