A Sketch in Pastels...

Tuesday Morning Sketches has an awesome sketch this week.  Here it is.

And here is the card I came up with.
I started with a lavender card base and added a pastel diagonal patterned layer.  I then added the corner accents and satin ribbon.  The focal of this card is a beautiful section of scripture mounted on a pastel green panel.  Three little lavender adhesive pearls finish the sketch.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Word Art Wednesday #24
Tuesday Morning Sketches  #143
Stampin Sisters in Christ #135 'pastels'
Creative Inspirations  #160 'anything goes'

  1. Hi Reny! I love this card. I especially like the way the scriptures runs up and down/narrow. It really sets off the whole look of the project. Thanks for sharing it in the challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I really hope you will join us again next week for a new challenge (starting tomorrow). Your art is a blessing to me!
I'd also like to invite you to stop by my blog and become a follower, and I'd like to follow you as well (if that's OK with you). Hope to see you soon, and have a great week!
    Blessings,

  6. This is beautiful Reny and it's given me an idea: i.e. to use velcro to attach a bookmark to a card and give as a nice little gift. Thank you. xx Love this.

  9. Beautiful card Reny! I love that it could be dual purpose with your main image could be detachable and become a bookmark. Great papers, too. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
