A Pretty Get Well...

This is the sketch for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge.  I love the opportunity to use several of my very pretty papers from a new paper pack I just bought at Walmart.  The paper is from Colorbok and is called 'Rosewood'.
For this card I started with a white card stock base and added the patterned paper strips.  Then I cut out a sweet little doily with my silhouette from some green paper and topped it with a deep red scalloped circle.  To this I added a paper flower with a bling center and a Monarch butterfly punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  Across the top I put a double satin ribbon in matching green tied in a bow.  The get well sentiment is stamped with a foliage rubber stamp for a background done with SU Always Artichoke.  The sentiment is stamped in pitch black.  I inked all edges except for the base of the card with SU Basic Brown.  I used foam dimensional adhesive to adhere the embellishments and the sentiment tag.

I am entering this card into the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and the There She Goes clear stamps ribbon challenge this week.

I am also entering this card into the ABC Design Team challenge for 'anything goes' as their challenge is still going on until the 21st of this month.  So go on over there and check out their awesome challenge.  They are awarding a fabulous prize to the winner of this challenge (The winner will receive $20.00 Store Credit at www.abctoysandcrafts.net)  so it's definitely worth participating in!

As always, thanks so much for visiting my blog and have a wondermous week!!!
